Palak Tiwari: I Bought Mom Her First Designer Bag

Palak Tiwari, the rising star currently promoting her latest film Romeo 3, recently shared insights into her mother, Shweta Tiwari's approach to money and luxury in a candid interview. Despite being a renowned name in the TV industry after the success of Kasautii Zindagii Kay, Shweta remains grounded and frugal, according to her daughter.

In a conversation with News 18, Palak explained that her mother’s reluctance to splurge stems from her hardworking nature. She emphasized, "It’s not about being materialistic. My mom has worked too hard in life, and that's why she keeps things simple and frugal. It's not about the luxury, but about rewarding yourself for the hard work."

Shweta, despite her celebrity status and financial success, doesn’t indulge much in lavish spending, even after becoming one of the highest-paid TV stars during her Kasautii Zindagii Kay days. Palak, however, loves to pamper her mother and has taken it upon herself to gift Shweta luxurious items, something her mother doesn’t prioritize.

Palak fondly recalls, "The first designer bag my mom owned was from me. I got tired of seeing her carry the same jholi everywhere. She kept saying no, but I finally bought her one because, with the kind of name she’s built for herself, she deserved something that reflected her success."

The mother-daughter duo’s bond is one of mutual love and admiration, with Palak making it a point to reward Shweta for all her years of dedication and hard work.

Palak Tiwari was last seen in The Bhootnii, a film where she shared the screen with Sanjay Dutt, Mouni Roy, and others. Now, she’s gearing up for the release of Romeo S3, which hits theaters on May 16. The film also stars Anoop Singh and is directed by Guddu Dhanoa.
